18th February 2022 - It is Friday!!!

Hey, Finally, it is Friday, and today's thought goes to my favorite day. 

I hope it is the same for most of you. Isn't it?  It became my favorite date from my school days. Even though school days were so enjoyable and we were like free birds, we were waiting for Friday. It is our great day, too, when we are working. I think that pleasure comes from Thursday night. Ohh tomorrow is Friday. Friday is the end of the meetings, calls, chats, issues, headaches, etc... of a heavy week.

When I was working from the office, Friday was the day that I'm coming home from Colombo if there was no late work. Those days, I tried my best to leave on time to come home. There were some unlucky days too. 

One office mate used to tease me that saying, you are having baths on Fridays. Therefore, you look fresh at the end of the week, not the start. Lol...

Now, as a remote worker, it is not an issue anymore. Now, Friday evenings are allocated to listen to more songs while exercising. So, that evening is full of positive thoughts. Lol... How about you? I believe you are also enjoying the Fridays even though you have different schedules.

14th February 2022 - The lost divine voice

Today's thought goes to legendary Latha Mangeshkar. 

She passed away on 6th February 2022. She is one singer who has been born with gifts of the universe with a divine voice. I think she is an era of the music industry. 

The most important thing is her existence in the same grade for the entire era she worked. She was like a batch-top student of every year. 

Even we heard the divine voice of her nicely, her journey should not be an easy one. I think Nanda Malini in our country is another such gem we have. 

My today's thought goes to these unmatched personalities...

11th Feb 2022 - Food! Yes. I love it!

 Today's special thought goes to Food! You love it, right? Now, I feel like it is good to eat something spicy. Mmmmm... Tomorrow is Saturday. So, it is better to buy or cook something spicy. What is your preference? Sweets? 

Does food make only your tongue happy? Is it possible to give happiness to your eyes and mind? 

Yes. Of course. But how? Let me explain. Have you donated food? I think the answer of most of you will be 'Yes'. But have you looked the way that they have enjoyed it? Then most of your answers will be 'No'. I know it is not ethical to disturb somebody in that way after offering a meal. But it is possible!  I'm experiencing it for a couple of weeks. 

Food goes to a few innocent friends in our yard. Squirrels and different birds are those guys who would like to have that free meal. The way they are enjoying it always supports me to make my day! It is a nice scene. Try and see! You will love it. Don't forget to keep a water bowl for them to drink and bath...

09th February 2022 - Nature is charging us...

What is today's topic? Even though we are living in an ocean of thoughts, why it is difficult to find out a thing to highlight? It is also an amazing thing. Isn't it? 

Do we need a job to live? Why do only human has to pay for living while the other beings have free permits? Sometimes, nature is charging us for the pollution and other irrelevant activities we have been doing to nature. I think we are a burden. So, they are charging it. 

Shall we behave well and see whether it would like to give a chance to reduce the cost of living?

04th February 2022 - Freedom!

Hey...

Hope you all are doing good

Today is Sri Lanka's 74th independence day. 

So, my thought of the day is driving towards freedom. How do you define 'Freedom'? How do you expect your freedom?

For me, freedom of the mind is my expectation. If the mind is free from bonds and defilements, then that is my definition. 

The other thing, freedom is applicable for all living beings including pets at your home. Make sure they are free!

02nd February 2022 - Blogging again!

Hey, 

Today is the start of my new blog, Thought of the day. 

Emphasizing the thought that needs to be highlighted is the purpose. I should start blogging again! It is today's thought.

There will not be more content. It depends. I appreciate you to coming up with your highlights. Sometimes, this may be like a diary. I don't know... Will see, buddies.. :) Let's see what's next.
