Hey...
Hope you are passing through a great day or just started the day. Now it is noon for us with a cloudy climate with heavy rain. I love this climate. But when it comes to drying the clothes or going out to buy necessary home stuff, then it is so bad. So, a few home stuff are running out at the moment. It is lazy to step out. Lol...
As for today's topic, I wanted to discuss that matter. Are we doing things by looking for others' responses? Are we waiting for their feedback? Should we give them an update about our lives?
Do we maintain our looks to impress others? Do we live in nice houses and use luxury vehicles to show that we are in that status now? Have a look. Hey, look at my wristwatch. It is a branded one. Smell my perfume. It is a branded one, too. So, are we doing all the things to impress others and show our status?
What if the outside never minds about our look, house, vehicle, clothes, shoes, perfume, or anything? Then would we do all these things up to that extent? Are we maintaining all the things because of the other's response? It is just a thought that came to my mind today. But isn't it the truth? I think we can live in a cave even with the minimum if the others don't mind about us. I think that is why saints have that kind of life. The others do not matter to them. According to that mindset, to show whom? If there is no audience, to whom we should show this film? Isn't it?
So, I feel like sometimes we are watching others' movies, and others are watching our movies. What kind of life you would have if there are no audience? I just thought about it. I think then there won't be any lack in your mind to fill. I think social media is the platform that helps you maintain all this stuff. We post a photo or something by looking for others' responses. That is the easiest case I can show you as proof of this point. Isn't it? Would those platforms have a long run, if there is no such negotiation? You post something, and I send a response. I post something, and you send a response. If that negotiation breaks, does it survive? No. But they know that is not the mentality we have. The others matter to us. We need their feedback. So, this example is the primary thing to prove that mentality.
I have this much work experience but still, I'm in this position. This is the 10th wedding anniversary. But I don't have kids yet. Still, we are living in a rented house. We have an old modeled vehicle. So, if there are no outsiders can't you get down from that old modeled vehicle? You can. But you feel happy if somebody looks into it if you are coming by the latest vehicle. You feel happy if your colleague sends wishes for your promotion. You feel happy when you are showing your well-built house to your relative. You feel happy if your friend gives compliments on your good-looking photo. So, always others matter to us. So, are we doing all these things to impress others? Do all this hard work for others? That's my question.
According to my view, maintaining an image that shows a kind of fake update of yourself to society is not necessary. Then it will make a complex lifestyle for you. You will have selection criteria for everything. You won't be able to go out with your old school buddies. You won't be able to satisfy with a simple meal. Finally, your foot would not touch the floor. So, think about the other side of the same. A world without others' responses. A world with people who are not looking for others' feedback. I think it would be a nice world. What do you think?
